Oats sandwich is a quick breakfast recipe that can be prepared at your home. Oats are rich in fibre and many experts recommend it’s consuming for its healthy benefits. Here is the simple preparation method of oats sandwich, prepare and serve this healthy sandwich to your family members.
1/2 cup (50 gms)
Quaker Oats - roasted 4 slices oats bran bread
1/2 cup low fat yogurt - whisk well till smooth
2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum
1 tbsp grated carrot
A pinch of roasted cumin (bhuna jeera) powder
Salt and pepper - to taste
1 tsp tomato Puree
Method of preparation:
Take a pan and dry roast Quaker Oats in it for 3-4 minutes till light golden.
Mix whisked yogurt, tomato Puree, roasted Quaker Oats, chopped capsicum, carrot, salt, pepper and cumin powder.
Spread 2 heaped tbsp of the above mixture on one side of a bread slice.
Cover with another slice.
Toast the sandwich on a non-stick pan on both sides till golden. Cut into two. Serve.
