Story

Running Shaadi is the story of Ram Bharosa (Amit Sadh) who works for a bridal saree shop owned by Nimmi’s (Tapsee Pannu) father. After some days things change as Ram and Nimmi falls in love with each other. However some scuffles disturb their relationship and Ram walks out of his job after a small problem with Nimmi’s dad. He then starts a business for couples who are in plans to run away and get married. Things change after Nimmi wishes to run away with her supposed lover Shunty. The rest of Running Shaadi is all about Shunty and Ram’s problems in solving problems. Watch Running Shaadi to know about the rest.

The first half of Running Shaadi has been completely refreshing and the entertainment throughout keeps the film going. The movie has enough interest and the gripping narration makes the movie pass your time. The love story has been fresh and the songs have been shot well. The interval episodes turn the film interesting and on the whole the first half of Running Shaadi has been showcased well though it has nothing much to reveal.

The second half of Running Shaadi dips down completely as the major plot has been kept aside. The confusing narration will sure irritate the audience and is a huge disappointment. The songs have been decent and the performances by the lead actors are the only savior of Running Shaadi. Though the film picks up during the pre-climax episodes, the climax has been completely outdated and predictable. On the whole the second half of Running Shaadi is sure a disappointment.

Performance :

Running Shaadi has Amit Sadh playing the lead role and his performance is the major highlight of the film. He did the role of Ram with ease and his performance is one of the major highlights of the film. Tapsee who has been natural in her recent outings has been stunning and entertaining throughout the film. Her performance has been subtle and will sure steal your hearts. All the other actors looked decent and they have been apt.

The story of the film looks interesting but the screenplay and the dialogues look completely clumsy. The music and the background score looked decent and soothing. The cinematography captured some beautiful locales of North and the editing has been ok. The production values too looked decent and the director failed to make the audience sit engaging.

Final Word

Running Shaadi offers nothing except few smiles and some decent performances by the lead actors Amit Sadh and Tapsee Pannu. A film that can be given a skip.

    Phillauri Movie Review

Phillauri has an interesting story line and it has been well executed in parts. The movie turns quite interesting at times however it is the slow narration which spoils the feel throughout. The first half looks decent and it has some interesting episodes to get entertained. However a huge dip during the pre-interval episodes spoils the mood and on the whole the first half of Phillauri has been quite comfortable to be watched. After a decent first half, the second half fails to make that impact across the audience. The uninteresting narration and the unwanted episodes spoil the film’s feel. They deviate the major plot of the film and irritate the audience. It is Anushka Sharma who shines throughout the film and the visuals look extremely impressive. The climax has been decent and on the whole the second half of Phillauri fails to live up the expectations.

    Trapped Movie Review

Trapped starts on an engaging and entertaining note with a cute love story and funny conversations between Shaurya and Noorie. The movie takes a major leap after the lead actor gets trapped in a building which is located in the heart of the city. The gripping narration is sure the major highlight though the film has enough flaws that can be ignored purely because of the performances and the tight screenplay. On the whole the first half of Trapped has been decent and interesting. The second half of Trapped strikes hard with its content and it with the performance of Rajkumar Rao completely. Though the film lacks commercial content, the screenplay of the film makes Trapped an interesting one. Rajkumar Rao makes a huge impact with his impressive performance which makes Trapped an impressive film to watch. The climax episodes have been decent.

    Badrinath Ki Dulhania Movie Review

The entire first half of Badrinath Ki Dulhania has been racy and runs on entertainment which is filled with humour and sensible elements. The songs have been shot extremely well and are the major highlights of the movie. The emotional episodes too take the major leap at the right time and the interval episodes make the film gripping. On the whole the first half of Badrinath Ki Dulhania is a treat to watch. The second half of Badrinath Ki Dulhania too takes the same wave for sometime but the major plot gets deviated after time passes. However the movie returns back soon and the entertainment takes the major show of the film. The performances by the lead actors and emotional episodes during the pre-climax and the climax makes Badrinath Ki Dulhania a winner at the box-office.

    Commando 2 Movie Review

The first half of the film has been badly penned and executed. It has nothing new to offer and the poor screenplay makes the film flat right from the first frame. Even the characters have not been well framed and it is the pre-interval twist that makes the film interesting. However things change instantly and the songs have not been well shot. The action stunts performed by Vidyut Jammwal are the only good things that happened for the film. The second half of the movie too has nothing much interesting to narrate. It is the lean concept and bad execution that kills the film and its flavor. With many flaws throughout the second half, Commando 2 fails to impress the audience. In the second half, the background score has been apt. The climax episodes have been decently shot however the film fails to make the audience sit engaging.

    Rangoon Movie Review

The first half of Rangoon starts with a bang and all the three leading actors thrive to perform to their best. Especially Shahid and Kangana have been outstanding. The movie has a predictable plot but it is the narration of the characters and their performances which lead the show. The entire first half has been decent and the songs have been extremely colorful. The performances by the lead actors make a strong impact across the audience. The second half of the film manages to stand convincing but it is the slow pace and dragged episodes that disturb the audience. The songs have been shot well and the backdrop of Second World War has been extremely convincing. The pre-climax episodes make the film interesting and intense. The climax has been decent and on the whole, Rangoon is quite convincing if one ignores some flaws.

    The Ghazi Attack Movie Review

The first half of The Ghazi Attack starts on a decent note and it narrates about the situations across the sea and what all happens in a submarine. The movie turns interesting after the real plot unfolds. The movie has no commercial aspects, but the director made sure that the audience are never disappointed. With a decent interval episode, the first half of Ghazi is worth watching. The second half of The Ghazi Attack makes a strong impact on the audience. The movie races to the top and the film elevates at the right point of time. The war episodes have been shot exceptionally well and the visual effects are a treat for the audience to be watched on main screen. The last 20 minutes of The Ghazi Attack will leave the audience thrilled and will take the film to the next level. On the whole, the second half of The Ghazi Attack is sure a classic.
